SALT WATER
When angling in salt water, consider using aluminum, prism, or black oxidized pliers for added protection against the elements. For longevity in salt water be sure to rinse your pliers in fresh water and apply a little oil.
METAL
The Bullet Head, Chain Nose, and Barracuda pliers are made with 410 stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness of 45 on the cutters. The Typhoon and Squall are made of anodized aluminum.
